Our Curriculum is designed to teach you the “why” of what you are learning as opposed to only teaching you “how” to do it. Our mission is pure and simple: To provide a quality post-secondary education with an emphasis on the required business skills needed to create a long, successful career. If choosing the cosmetology course, you will spend your first 12 weeks in a classroom setting focused on Salon Preparatory Classes. If choosing the esthetics course, you will spend your first 5 weeks in a classroom setting focused on Spa Preparatory Classes.
Following successful completion of the Salon or Spa Preparatory classes you will be able to practice your new trade on real life clients for the duration of your schooling! You will also complete the 10 week Nuts and Bolts Business Training curriculum that is focused solely on the Salon and Spa Professional. Towards the end of your time with Hoss Lee Academy you will be enrolled into our State Board preparatory classes ensuring your knowledge of practical examination you will soon be taking.
