HLA provides small, intimate class sizes that allow different learning styles to flourish. Our curriculum incorporates a variety of teaching methodologies to ensure comprehension and retention of all material covered in class. Students complete theory workbook chapters, work through interactive online lessons and testing on the Milady CIMA platform, and perform hands-on operations on clients and mannequins to apply what they’ve learned in lecture. Beginning in 2026, every student kit will also include a Microsoft Chromebook to support online learning and access to CIMA throughout their program.
